Extensive experience for communication and naval ship systems in industry and academia for technology development, applied research, standardisation and operations. Past employment includes Indian Navy (Deputy Director Electronic Warfare Systems) and Sepura plc., Cambridge UK (as Senior Technologist). Member of TechUK Communications Infrastructure and UK5G Innovation networks for promotion of research, collaboration and industrial application of communication systems. Research lead for the Connected Devices and Systems group and University of East London. Engineering subject lead for REF2021 submission. Guest editor for the IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems (TCAS)-II, -I Special Issues 2015,2017. Associate Editor for the IEEE TCAS-I (2018-till date).
