Profile

Priyesh Shukla (Student Member, IEEE) received B.E. (Hons.) degree in the electrical and electronics engineering, and M.E. degree in microelectronics from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani campus, Pilani, India in 2015 and 2017 respectively. He is currently pursuing Ph.D. degree in the electrical and computer engineering at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Chicago, IL, USA.

He was with Qualcomm Inc., Bengaluru, India from 2017-2018. He was a Summer Intern at Qualcomm Inc., San Diego, CA, USA in 2020. His research interests include artificial intelligence at the edge, Bayesian methods, in-memory computing, energy-efficient devices, circuits and systems for AI, robotics and quantum computing.

He is the recipient of the University of Illinois system Peter and Deborah Wexler Award in 2018.
