Profile

Jian-Jiun Ding was born in 1973 in Taiwan. He received the Ph.D. degree in 2001 from National Taiwan University (NTU), Taipei, Taiwan. In 2006, he become an assistant professor in the Department of EE and the Graduate Institute of Communication Engineering (GICE), NTU. In 2012, he was promoted to an associate professor. In 2017, he was promoted to a professor.

His current research areas include time-frequency analysis, linear canonical transforms, wavelet transforms, image processing, image compression, integer transforms, pattern recognition, face recognition, machine learning, etc.
