    Bio

    Tommaso Rizzo was born in Pisa, Italy, in 1995. He received the B.S. and M.S. degrees (cum laude) in Electronic Engineering from the University of Pisa, in 2017 and 2019, respectively. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in Electronic Engineering in a joint program with the University of Pisa and Quantavis s.r.l., in the field of analog and mixed-signal IC design using standard and non-standard CMOS technologies. From 2014 to 2019, he was “Allievo Ordinario” at Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies, Pisa. In 2017, he was with Fermilab, Batavia, IL, US, as a Visiting Student and in 2019 he joined imec, Eindhoven, NL, working on a wireless powering receiver system for deep implants as his Master Thesis project. His research activity is focused on the design of CMOS analog blocks for DNNs and the development of wireless power transfer solutions for IMDs.
