Dr Teris Tam is currently a Simons Initiative postdoctoral fellow at the University of Edinburgh under Prof. Matt Nolan studying spatial memory in mice. Before that, he was a visiting scholar at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities under Prof. Yang Zhi developing peripheral nerve neuroprosthesis. The research interest of Dr.Tam includes spatial memory, brain-computer interface, real-time neural signal processing and decoding.
