Abhishek Damle is an Electrical Engineering Master’s student at Virginia Tech, where he also received a Bachelor’s in Computer Engineering in 2020. He is a member of the Multifunctional Integrated circuits and Systems (MICS) group and currently researches low power, machine learning enabled wireless sensor nodes to automate cattle health monitoring. His primary research interest is edge intelligence. He is specifically interested in hardware-software co-design to make machine learning more efficient and enable groundbreaking applications for unmet needs.
