Imon Mondal is an assistant professor in the Microelectronics and VLSI group of the department of Electrical Engineering at IIT Kanpur. He graduated with a Ph.D. from the department of electrical engineering at IIT Madras where he worked on high frequency analog filters for wideband time-delay lines. He obtained his B.Tech in electronics and communication engineering from Kalyani Govt. Engineering College, and M.Tech in electrical engineering from IIT Kanpur respectively. Between 2007 and 2011, he was with Cypress Semiconductor India Private Ltd., Bangalore, where he was involved in design of power management systems for non-volatile SRAMs. His current research interests include integrated circuit high speed analog circuit design, with a special emphasis on delay lines and power amplifiers.
