Farzad Mozafari received his B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering (Electronics), in 1996. He worked as a supervisor in the UPS Faran Industries, Kermanshah, Iran. The largest producer of UPS units in the province. In 1997 he was hired as a laboratory technician by the Department of Electrical Engineering at Razi University. As a laboratory technician, he had the opportunity of collaborating in a wide range of research activities with many faculty members within the said department. He served as a teaching assistant for several courses including VLSI design, Electronic I, Electronic II, Electronic III, Pulse Techniques, Logic Circuits, Computer Architecture and Microprocessors. Farzad received his M.S. in Electrical Engineering (Electronics) at the Department of Electrical Engineering Razi University in 2008. As a graduate student he focused on the modeling and simulation of Organic Thin Film Transistor in his research. In his thesis, he applied the modeling and simulation of Top-Contact Pentacene Thin Film Transistor (TCPTFT) based on Artificial Neural Networks (ANN).By evaluating the simultion results, he concluded that the proposed neural network model is a suitable technique for modeling of organic thin film transistors. His proposed model can be used in circuit simulators such as HSPICE, due to its high accuracy and lower computational cost compared to the conventional techniques. Farzad is eagerly seeking an opportunity to continue his training in an internationally recognized academic department to receive his Ph.D. degree in the field of electronics. He is now Ph.D. student of Shahid Beheshti, Iran.He is currently as a visiting scholar under the supervision of professor Majid Ahmadi in the department of electrical and computer engineering, university of Windsor, Canada.
