Jack Cai is a second-year undergraduate Engineering Science – Machine Intelligence student at the University of Toronto. His research interest is in deep learning algorithms and the emerging in-memory and neuromorphic computing technologies. Jack joined the Intelligent Sensory Microsystem Laboratory in the Edward S. Rogers Sr. Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at the University of Toronto as an undergraduate researcher since January 2020 under the supervision of Dr. Roman Genov and Dr. Amirali Amirsoleimani. He was the recipient of the ESROP UofT and NSERC USRA research awards for 2021 and 2022.
