Abstract
Here we present a new approach to improving small green plant‘s irrigation based on the direct in vivo body impedance measurements of the plant. These results have been obtained using a in house designed sensor system combining monitoring of environment changes with impedance changes. We show that impedance changes indicate plant hydration status, as well as correlation to additional environment parameters, in which a combined analysis suggests improvement on plant monitoring and planning irrigation
