    Abstract

Hardware-in-loop (HIL) simulation plays a prominent role in power electronics, especially power inverters. Discretizing three-level inverters brings about a linear nodal equation solved with least-squares approaches. This paper proposes a method to study the potential impact of uncertainty on switches resistance in three-level inverter simulation. It is done by applying uncertainty on switches resistance and solving the equivalent nodal equation of the inverter. Results show a cyclic variation for this amount of variance in resistance.
