Abstract
Wireless Power Transfer System (WPTS) can be divided into two main parts: the primary side and the secondary side. Regardless of the application, communication between these two sides is of fundamental importance for achieving high performance. In this paper, a classification that highlights the advantages and the disadvantages of different communication techniques available in the literature is shown. An example of wireless power and data transfer system design procedure is presented. The potentials of the system are evaluated through simulations.
