This presentation begins with meeting Edgar at the 20th MWSCAS in Lubbock, TX and visiting him several times at INAOE in Tonantzintla, Mexico. It covers his research in the late 70\'s and early 80\'s and the interactions I had with him in teaching short courses, coauthoring the text Switched Capacitor Circuits, and helping him make the transition to Texas A&M University.
