    Abstract

    A generalized structure capable of implementing multi-phase sinusoidal oscillators, constructed from non-integer order low-pass filter stages, is presented in this work. This is achieved by expressing the transfer function of the filters as a ratio of two impedances, where one of them is non-integer. The approximation of this impedance is performed using an appropriate curve-fitting based technique. The provided design examples confirm the validity of the proposed technique.
