    Abstract

    To reduce the full-chip temperature estimation error, we propose an entropy-based thermal sensor allocation method, which aims to find a thermal sensor allocation way to cover more information about the temperature behavior on the multi-core system. The experimental results show that the proposed approach can reduce 3% to 93% average full-system temperature reconstruction error and 3% to 96% maximum full-system temperature reconstruction error compared with the related works.
