    Abstract

    In this talk, I will present NRC’s efforts in the field of printable indoor light energy harvesting organic photovoltaic (OPV) cells through development of highly efficient materials and devices and present a demonstration of integrated OPV-based indoor light sensor and energy harvester for smart building applications. I will also talk about NRC’s efforts on low-power electricity generators based on piezoelectric and triboelectric effects and their applications in low-power autonomous sensor systems.
