    Abstract

We developed a prototype ASIC interface with multi-channel oscillators and two types of HV boosting implemented in a 0.18-μm TSMC BCD process for CMUTs-based biochemical system, achieving real-time frequency monitoring and on-chip HV DC bias excitation with a 1.8-V VDD. By establishing a LEM with parasitic effects, the electrical parameters near the parallel-resonance region were extracted into co-design flow of oscillator core. The proposed PMOS-based HV charge pump was more efficient in boosting than the conventional setup topology. The experimental verification tests will be implemented after the tape-out, and then biochemical detection will be involved in our next works.
