    Abstract

An all-MOSFET wide range programmable current reference with PV insensitive temperature compensation for the range -20 ◦C to 100 ◦C is designed and implemented in SCL 180 nm standard CMOS technology. The current temperature compensation by mutual compensation of temperature characteristics of mobility, threshold voltage, and a novel temperature-dependent voltage bias is achieved. It includes a nano-ampere and a microampere reference current and functionality of programmable current in the range of 106 µA to 1.586mA. The nA current has a low TC and small area while µA one has low TC, FOM, and power consumption.
