    Abstract

A 50MHz TIA, suitable for 5G Sub6GHz SAW-less wideband receivers, is presented in this paper. A two-stage pseudo-differential OTA with 1GHz UGLB and 41dB loop gain is designed to build this TIA. Cascode negative resistance ensures common-mode stability and gain of the OTA, while advanced R-C compensation technique ensures differential-mode phase margin consuming no additional power. By properly sizing the input capacitor and designing the gain and bandwidth of the OTA, the input impedance of the TIA is below $19\\Omega$ at all frequencies. The whole design only consumes 8.5mW. At lower supply voltage, the TIA exhibits excellent IB and OOB IIP3, and the FOM value is comparable to the state of the art.
