Abstract
This live demonstration is related to ISCAS track “12.8: Human Computer Interaction”. This live demo shows a gesture recognition system for human-machine interface (HMI) in automotive applications. The system includes a sensor of four copper electrodes interfaced by an Analog Front-End (AFE), and a digital core for signal processing and gesture identification. A proof-of-concept system is designed including a Personal Computer (PC) to show the results in real time. The system identifies different kind of gestures that could be used for different purposes, as for example, car access control.
