Abstract
In this article an accurate frequency estimation method for 2D signals is proposed. It can be applied to antenna array signal processing and image processing. This method is very efficient because it only samples two 1D lines in the first dimension. The corresponding frequency in the second dimension is estimated by phase difference and fine tuned by sampling another line. Through experiments we found it effective in noise removal. To conclude, the proposed method is suitable for 2D accurate frequency estimation and preprocessing.
