The response of the geophones, as one of the most common seismic sensors, to the low-frequency vibration is damped due to the mechanical structure of the mass-spring. The paper presents a new analog technique to improve the frequency response of the geophones. Experimental results of the set up in the laboratory validated the effectiveness of the method.
