Abstract
Analogue circuits real-time emulation based on Wave Digital Filter (WDF). Although the WDF has been shown to be effective for circuits with linear elements, a proper method for dealing with nonlinear components, like MOS transistors, is required. We used a WDF model for MOS transistors that can solve the connectivity problem in traditional nonlinear WDF models while maintaining analogue emulation accuracy and efficiency. Experiments on three different circuits, including an RC, CS amplifier and crystal oscillator circuit show perfect match between WDF emulation and SPICE simulation results. The WDF structures and emulation for the above experiments were implemented in MATLAB.
